Ovis musimon
It is said that it was first bred in Bohemia in the 1850s in the nature reserve near Hluboká nad Vltavou, where it was imported from the nature reserve near Vienna. However, some reports indicate that it could have appeared in our country even earlier (at the end of the 18th century). In any case, he found good living conditions here and is successfully bred not only in fields, but also in the wild.
In our pheasant house, we offer individual mouflon game hunting for a fee. Thanks to favorable natural conditions, appropriate care and quality gene pool of released game, we achieve significant success in its breeding. We traditionally hunt mouflon game by trolling and waiting.
